Fairy Costume!

When Madigan chose to be a fairy for Halloween I didn't know what I was going to do for the costume.... Of course we love the handmade costumes every year. This year it was really easy. I made a no-sew tutu with primary colors and used some felted flowers I had on stock to make a little crown. Kyle was going to make a pair of wings, but I found them for really cheap and just bought them to save a trip to the hardware store, etc. Here's what Madigan knows about fairies: they live in the forest and use a wand. Yup, that's about it. She likes to use her wand on Mom and Dad and change us into different animals or tell us to be happy....very cute. These things will go right into her dress up trunk which is getting quite full these days.





On Friday we headed downtown to trick-or-treat. Madigan LOVED all of the different costumes and had a great time. We met up with Paige so they could see each other's costumes and get a photo.
