Out of doors

It's been so warm here that it would be a shame to stay inside all day. So, we headed out to one of our favorite spots yesterday. We borrowed the ski attachment for the Chariot stroller and Kyle finally tested it out. Madigan, unfortunately, fell asleep pretty much the entire time! (No one is getting much sleep in the Mock household these days.)

Leo rode int he Ergo and seems to like it quite a bit. His soft little moans let me know he's fine and comfortable. He's such a snuggler that I think Mama will be carrying him often.

Duck Pond

We headed to the duck pond last weekend. It was sunny and warm when we left, but cold and dreary when we arrived. Madigan wore her new backpack (with the bread for the ducks in it) and "rode" her bike. I wore Leo in the Ergo (Thanks Erika for the infant insert-I love it!!). It's been fairly warm here and no new snow. We're hoping to get some new snow this weekend!

More Leo Pictures

Here's my sweet sweet boy. He is such a snuggler already! Of course he sleeps the day away, but he's awake more each day.Madigan likes to hold Leo during storytime. She does pretty well with him, but sometimes the excitement gets a hold of her!

Welcome!

Meet Leo Zander Mock
Born 1/8/2010 @ 7:15am
6 lbs, 13 oz
19 1/2 inches

I had another "short" labor with Leo-under 7 hours. He is such a sweet beautiful boy already. Madigan is smitten with her baby brother and is trying to help in every way. We're so excited to be a family of four now! More pictures to come as we settle in around here.

I'm ready...

We're 38 weeks today and I am so ready to have this baby. Of course I'd like it to wait for my mom to get here on the 15th, but if it came before then I'd be fine with it.
I'm looking forward to:
eating with an appetite
exercising at the gym!
bending over
rolling over without moaning
reading to Madigan with her on my lap

We're beside ourselves with the excitement of finding out what it is in there!

Sledding Party

Saturday morning we headed to the Boyer Farm for a kids sledding party! The kids were all 2-6 or 7, and we had such a blast. The other families were all so nice and the kids all had a great time sledding and skiing. Madigan was ready to go as soon as we got on there and went down by herself numerous times. I tell you, sometimes I don't recognize this child of mine! I managed to snap just a couple of photos. We followed the sledding with white bean chili and goodies.
We also took our Christmas tree and fed it to the goats while we were there! It was gone in about 4 minutes!
