First Rubber Duckie

Madigan is just about too big for her baby bath tub. It's almost time to move her into the real tub...She's not quite sitting up along yet, but soon.

Carrots!

Well, we added carrots to Madigan's new diet a week or so ago.... Seems to love them. This week I introduced bananas and she gags almost every bite....Next is peas.....

High Chair means more food!

We got Madigan a very cool new high chair. It's a Kettler Kombi 2 in 1. So its a high chair for the first year (or however long) and then it's a table and chair after that. We figure we can get a few years out of this purchase.

Junst hangin in the Sunshine

We had record highs last week and Madigan felt like hanging out in the sunshine. She's such an easy going kid...I had to run a few trips from the car to the house so I stuck her in her Bumbo seat where she could see me and she was perfectly happy....and of course the dogs liked it too.

It happened overnight really... One day she didn't know she had feet and the next day and every day since she tries to eat her feet.

We got this latest baby carrier about a month ago. She's just beginning to be the right size to wear her in it. I think she likes being on my back- she falls asleep pretty easily. I also took 2 walks this past weekend with her on the front facing me. It was so comfortable I forgot she weighs 15 pounds. I will wear this carrier a lot in the spring and summer to hike in it with her......can't wait!

Water makes the world go round

We introduced the sippy cup this week. Madigan took to it fast. She doesn't get that she needs to tilt her head back yet, but it will come with time. For now, she is enjoying the feel of the rubber on her gums and when Mom gives her a drink from a real cup.

Here is Kyle feeding Madigan. With a little bit of practice he had it down before the end of the feeding. (Boy, we really need to start accepting that kids are messy....and by that, we mean messier then dogs....)
