When Madigan and I returned from Wisconsin, we walked right over to the garden before going in the house---it had grown feet in a week!! So, last week, we picked a couple of zucchini and a green pepper from the garden for Pasta ala Kyle. Madigan ate her whole bowl full! We seem to talk a lot about where our food comes from around here- we belong to 2 CSA's (Community Supported Agriculture)-one meat and one veggie, we have chickens, and we see stuff together around town. Madigan now asks me "where did that grow from?" or "who grew that?", and I can't help but smile since it's so sweet and also it's so the person I want her to be (aware of her food that is).
Also, notice the jewelry on her ankles. I'm not sure where they get this from, but it just happens one day....
