Swmming Class

We signed Madigan up for swim class at the City Pool, only a few blocks from our house. She's been talking about swim class for a long time and has been ready for it. Well it turns out she hated it the first day and I thought we were going to withdraw from the class. The other moms kept commenting on how good she was doing (she was in tears and hanging on to the teacher the whole time) and told me their kids were screaming bloody murder at their 1st lessons. So, by the end she looked a little better, but had not cracked a smile the whole time. Kyle and I put smiles on for the walk home and told her how great she did and that it would get easier and funner. This past Saturday, her 2nd class, she did smile a little and didn't really cry at all. I think she just needed a little tough swim class love.
