Mama's girl

This past weekend was a milestone weekend. Madigan raised her hand up to me as we were going down the stairs and said "Mama". It was the first time she "called" for me. It was so sweet and I'm so happy she can call on me now with words. I have been waiting for a long time.
Also in big news, she has started asking for her binkie. She calls it "beebee" and her whole face is ridiculously cute when she makes the "b" sound twice. The first time she was getting her jammies on for bed and she kept saying it. So, I got her blankie (thanks Beth!) and that seemed to do it. But the next day it was clear that beebee meant binkie. Today as we drove home from the Museum and she was exhausted, she said it over and over with her eyes shut to make it more dramatic that she wanted it.
She also pats the ground next to us to tell us to sit down with her, can climb the ladder into the fort part of her playset outside by herself, is climbing on very chair in the house, can do stairs by herself -both ways, and tons of other stuff---and this is all NEW-like the last week or so!
