Leo Climbing

Leo learned how to pull himself up last week. Since then, he pulls himself up on EVERYTHING!!! Since he's only 7 1/2 months and has no clue what to do once he's up, he begins to cry after a few minutes.

Montana "Beaches"

Almost every Monday, I take the kids to a pond in a subdivision near Belgrade. We meet other families there and just hang out. Madigan plays in the sand the entire time. Leo plays a little in the water and on the shore, before taking a catnap around 5pm. On the way home, we pick up pizza and a salad for dinner. It's been a great weekly activity both the kids and I.

The Boys

Leo thinks its fun to climb over everything right now-no obstacle to large at this time. Case in point: the dog.

Barnaby is such a good sport and barely even looks up when Leo is hanging on him.

Sweet Pea Weekend

We are sweet pea folk.... Sweet Pea festival that is. Here's a few photos from our weekend. We went all 3 days and ate all the festival food we could get in. (Thank goodness we rode bikes to combat those calories!)

Saturday morning parade:
Madigan spent most of the parade without a shirt. We left the house early for coffee and breakfast at the Coop on the way-when we left it was cold....and then it was extremely hot and sunny....
Leo eating some cereal:

Leo did so well with staying out late and being outside. He slept like a rock once we got home and has been going to bed at 6:30 the last 2 nights!

Nothing is safe

Leo is not crawling (as in crawling on knees and hands), but he's pulling himself around, and he's pretty darn fast too! He's pulling himself up on everything. Madigan is pretty happy to see Leo playing with her-she's so into everything he does. Here they are in the kitchen shelves:

Georgetown Lake Camping

We headed up to Georgetown Lake last weekend for 2 nights of camping. We hadn't been to that area before. It was very pretty and had lots to do. We caught tadpoles (large ones with legs) and frogs at the boat launch. Madigan and I took the inflatable kayak around the shore, until a storm rolled in. Saturday night a crazy intense thunderstorm came through the campsite-luckily we were prepared with tarps and such. The Nelsons joined us for Saturday night. On Sunday we all headed to Philipsburg to visit the World's largest Candy Store-The Sweet Palace.

Madigan loved the little boat ride we took together.

The inflatable pool for confinement didn't work so well this trip. The bottom ring of the pool had a hole and Leo would just stick his arm over the side and grab handfuls of rocks and sticks.
