Yogurt Alone...?

So, last week I decided to let Madigan eat yogurt by herself with a spoon. She's been on some antibiotics this week and therefore eating 2 containers of yogurt a day. She INSISTS on eating it herself and throws a huge fit if we attempt to help her eat it. It's actually going ok--only because we have dogs to lick up the mess!

One Summer like weekend

Two weekends ago we actually had 90 degree weather the whole weekend. They said it was July temps in mid May. If you've been here in May, you know it's still pretty chilly and moist around here. Soooo, needless to say we were so excited! It's been a very long winter with lots of snow and we've been needing to soak up some sun. So, Madigan and I got some flowers and planted those, and we also started digging into the ground around the house so we can plant and mulch perennials. Madigan is a very good helper and enjoys anything outside. We're hoping this weekend warms up and we can spend some time outside painting and digging.

Library Fun

Madigan heads right to this :toddler computer" when we walk into the children's room at the library. I think she likes it since we're always shooing her away from the home computer.

Video from warmer days

Well, we're still feeling pretty winter-like here in Bozeman. Now instead of snow, it's rain! Here's lost video of a month or 2 ago when the weather was warm enough for Madigan to play in water.

Miscellaneous May Photos

Reading Birds N Blooms magazine- she's a daily reader, just loves to sit on the couch and flip through the pictures of birds and flowers.Coloring on big paper
She recently started attaching to blankets and babies when she's tired. This is Fox in Sox with a diaper on.
Our new professional series Kitchenaid mixer that Grandma sent us! Oh the things we can make now- and have been making all week.
Dad in the basement.

Always playing with and near Barnaby. Can't separate a girl form her dog....Or a dog from something that smells like food all the time.

Out of doors

Sandbox-Thanks Dennis!

Thanks to Dennis at my office for making Madigan the happiest girl to have a sandbox! Dennis; son, Billy, out grew this a couple of years ago and they passed it onto us. (We too hope to pass it on one day.) It fits right under her fort on the play set, so it's partly shaded and atleast it's not yet another thing to mow around. Unfortunately, the weather hasn't been so great this past week, but it will be this weekend.... We'll be spending lots of time in there, taking shade from the hot sun and dumping sand on our toes. I also hope to fill up her little pool if it's warm enough.
