Our Little Reader

Of course, we worried that Leo (being the second child) would not love books like his older sister. When he was smaller and less mobile he read with Madigan and I. But it wasn't until about 2 months ago that I started reading just to him before bed. Within a couple of weeks he started bringing us his favorite book and insisting that we read it and not letting up until we did. He's still carrying that same favorite book and picks it EVERY time out of a bin of 50 others- A Little Fire Engine by Lois Lenski. His other favorite right now is Curious George and the Bunny.
