M artwork update

Madigan stopped drawing pictures this Winter for a little while and I started to get a little worried. Then, one day she started back up again and has been going strong.

Spring Activities!

The kids and I made these Spring Nests (link here). They were yummy and the kids had a really fun time making them. We took some to our neighbors and they were just so cute to give away. elo is really into helping in the kitchen these days, especially if it involves something sweet.This morning we finally dyed our eggs. Madigan has asked no less then 200 times if we could decorate eggs this week. I had been waiting to join the neighbor girls but just found out they were heading out of town. So, this morning we did them and both kids had tons of fun. Leo does not gently drop the eggs in but rather throws them. He totally was into this activity and he was last year as well (even though he was so young.)

Here's Leo working on his first glue stick piece of art. He was very determined to make something.

I thought this little project would be a bigger hit with Madigan, but most of it is still blank. It's a bunch of picture frames drawn on white paper for Madigan and Leo to fill in with portraits etc. Madigan did draw a picture of herself and friend Paige snowboarding.

I cannot help but take a picture when both my kids are reading their library books on the way home. I hope this image is burned into my brain.Madigan working on Valentines.
Madigan did a 4 week (one night a week) ice skating class through the city. It was almost cancelled due to lack of winter weather. She liked it and did pretty good.

Madigan takes photos with our phones all the time. Here's a couple of pictures I found that she took.

Leo in a leotard

Yup, you see it right---Leo has a dance leotard/tutu on. He likes to be like his big sister so here they are getting ready to do a performance for their parents.


And as I was posting these pictures, Leo brought the leotard down and asked to put it on. So, I put it on over his clothes....
