Autumn Artwork

 The kids and I did this little project I found on Pinterest. We took glue and black paint to make black glue and made the outlines and veins of leaves. We let the glue dry and then the kids used watercolors to paint the leaves. They turned out so pretty. Leo loves to paint so much!

Family Biking

This was Le's 2st time outside of his seat on the xtracycle. Made this mama a little nervous but he did okay for the short ride to the Coop for dinner. Madigan's been riding on her bike a lot and can ride with us now on short rides. It's so exciting!

Painted House

We finally got our house painted!! We did 2 greys with line green doors into the mudroom and an orange door into the garage/backyard. We are so happy with our choices. Oh yeah and check out our new front hand rail that Kyle made last winter (last pictures as bottom).

Heading to a wedding on our bikes

An old friend got married a couple of weeks ago. It was the most authentic wedding, and so amazing to see the love. We biked to the reception (the bride, groom, wedding party and most guests rode 4 or 5 miles from wedding to reception). I just think the kids look so cute in their helmets.

Sweat Pea 2012

Madigan ran the Sweat Pea Children's Run again this year. She did a great job. I ran the 5k as well that morning. Here's the few photos I have of Sweat Pea weekend.

Fairy House Building at Library

The Library held its annual fairy house building morning. It's basically tables and hot glue guns set up. It's not anything we can't do at home, but Madigan really enjoys going. This year we made a couple of ladders before we went to the library. M has an area if the backyard designated for fairy house building....always a construction zone.
